Chilly Sunday morning in Delhi
December 18th, 2011 - 11:55 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 18 (IANS) A light blanket of mist accompanied by chilly winds ensured that it was a particularly cold Sunday morning in the capital as the minimum temperature settled three notches below average at five degrees Celsius.
The Met office has forecast a clear and sunny afternoon, followed by a nippy evening.
“Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 91 percent,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
“The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 23 degrees,” said an IMD official.
On Saturday, the minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded at 5 and 21.8 degrees.
