Chilly morning greets Delhiites
November 22nd, 2009 - 11:45 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Nov 22 (IANS) Delhiites woke up to a chilly morning Sunday with the minimum temperature being recorded at 8.7 degrees Celsius.
“The minimum temperature recorded was 8.7 degrees Celsius today (Sunday). The maximum temperature will be around 25 degrees Celsius,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
The capital recorded 8.6 degrees Celsius Saturday, which was this season’s lowest temperature.
“The sky will be mainly clear throughout the day,” the met official said.
The met department cited the northwesterly winds over Jammu and Kashmir and Shimla as the reason behind the dip in temperature.
