Chilly day in Delhi (Lead)

New Delhi, Dec 17 (IANS) Delhi witnessed a chilly day with the minimum temperature dipping three notches below average to 5 degrees Celsius Saturday, the weather said, adding the chill is set to continue.

While the maximum temperature was recorded at 21.8 degrees - one notch above average, the humidity wavered between a high of 91 percent and low of 32 percent.

Sunday morning will be foggy.

“There will be mist and fog in the morning and the sky will be clear in the day but it is likely to get cloudy towards in the evening,” said an India Meteorological Department official.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 22 and 5 degrees, respectively, Sunday.
