Bright morning in Delhi
September 19th, 2011 - 1:12 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Sep 19 (IANS) Delhiites woke up to a bright and clear Monday morning as the minimum temperature settled a notch above average at 25.4 degrees Celsius. The weather office forecast a dry day ahead.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), skies will remain clear through the day but might turn cloudy towards evening.
“The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 34 degrees Celsius,” said an IMD official. Humidity stood at 89 percent.
The city has so far received 618.5 mm of rainfall this monsoon, normal for the year.
