Breeze brings down mercury in Delhi (Lead)
March 21st, 2011 - 8:47 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 21 (IANS) A cloudy and windy day in the national capital brought down the maximum temperature to 29.3 degrees Celsius Monday, two notches below the average.
However, the minimum was two degrees above average at 17.6 degrees, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The weather office said the mercury is expected to rise again from Tuesday.
“The skies are expected to remain clear with sthe maximum and minimum temperature settling at 32 and 16 degrees Celsius respectively,” said an IMD official.
