New Delhi, Nov 18 (IANS) A day after the national capital witnessed heavy showers, the temperature in Delhi dipped Wednesday. The met department has ruled out any further possibility of rain in the coming days.
“The capital recorded a minimum temperature of 10.7 degrees Celsius at around 8:30 a.m. This is normal for this time of the year,” India Meteorological Department’s director V.P. Yadav told IANS.

This was less than 36 hours after Delhi received 7.6 mm of rainfall within about 40 minutes late Monday night, the highest it has got in a day in any November month since 1998. Delhi has so far received 10.4 mm of rainfall this November.

The met department has forecast a clear day Wednesday.

“We are not expecting any further rain showers in the national capital region (which includes nearby Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad),” V.P. Yadav said.

He also said that there will be no major fall in temperature over the next few days.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 24 degrees Celsius, three degrees below the average, the met office said.
