New Delhi, Feb 14 (IANS) A pleasant day lies ahead for Delhi with a partly cloudy sky and the maximum temperature hovering around the 24 degrees Celsius mark, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said Tuesday.

The cloud cover enveloping Delhi is keeping the temperature higher than average, promising a perfect day for those celebrating Valentine’s Day. The minimum temperature recorded early Tuesday morning was two notches above average at 11.7 degree Celsius.

Though there was a mist in the morning, visibility was a fair 700 metres.

No rains are in store for the day, says IMD.
