June 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After weeks of speculating that they might offer their house for sale, Zsa Zsa Gabor and husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt have placed the house on the market. The couple is asking for $15 million for the Bel Air mansion.

The asking price is short of the $28 million that they initially announced that they want for the house. Real estate agent Christophe Choo who spoke to CNN about the mansion explained that the mansion was built in the 1950s.

The decision to sell the mansion is because of the high cost of medications that Gabor is currently on. 94-year-old Gabor has been invalid since she had an auto accident. Her condition was worsened when she fell from her bed last year.

The fall caused her to break her hip bone which was replaced with a surgery. The surgery triggered series of complicated medical problems which finally resulted in the amputation of her leg early this year. Gabor was again rushed to the emergency room where doctors carried out surgery on her stomach.

During her recovery, she got hysterical when she heard that her friend of 30 years Elizabeth Taylor has died. She reportedly said that she was next.
