Mumbai, June 11th, 2009: This weekend, NDTV Lumière brings you a sweet and engaging comedy “Dorine And Her Neighbour’. Produced by legendary French director Claude Berri and written and directed by award-winning Isabelle “Nanty Dorine And Her Neighbour’ was screened at the 2003 Festival de Cannes. Seating and entry is free at “Zenzi Lumière’.
With a full-time job as a concierge of a classy Parisian apartment, four children and pregnant with her fifth, Dorine (Isabelle Nanty) has more on her hands than she can handle. Her neighbour Le Bison (Edouard Baer) turns out to be an irascible inventor with a lifestyle that ensures they’re always on each others nerves.But when her husband runs away with Le Bison’s girlfriend, Dorine is left with no option but to turn to the surly and difficult man next door for help. Faced with the task of running a home and taking care of four children, of which he knows nothing about, Le Bison rises to the challenge, and discovers a part of him, he thought never existed.
