Zee Cine Awards: SRK, Vidya Balan, Dabangg And KJO sweep The Awards Under Popular Choice With Élan

The Zee cine Awards were held in Singapore and it was an amazing event with stars from B town shining at the gala event making it a night of pure fun and magic. The stars who won took away the trophies with élan.
The stars that shone were Shahrukh Khan, Vidya Balan, Karan Johar and Dabangg. While SRK was adjudged the Best Actor male for his role in My Name Is Khan, Vidya Balan bagged it for Best Female actor for her role in Ishqiya and Best Karan Johar for Best Director for My Name Is Khan and Dabangg was adjudged the Best film under the Popular Choice Awards category.
However, under the Jury Award category there was Hrithik Roshan who won it for Best Actor Male for Guzaarish, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan got it for Best Female actor under the same category and Vikramaditya Motwane bagged it for Udaan under this category. The Best International Female Icon Award was presented to Deepika Padukone.
The other awards at the function were the Evergreen couple Award which went to the evergreen couple of Bollywood Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. Sonakshi Sinha’s dad Shatrughan Sinha was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for his long and fruitful association and contribution to the film industry in Bollywood.
The event had some stellar performances by Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal etc. Salman Khan Starrer Dabangg won 9 different awards in different categories making it one of the most popular films to have been released in 2010.Dabangg was given the award for Best Film, Best Director which went to Abhinav Kashyap, Best Debut Female, Best Song – Munni Badnaam Hui, and Best Music Sajid Wajid and Lalit Pandit etc.
