Zed elected to the Governing Board of Northern Nevada International Center for 2nd term

Acclaimed Indo-American statesman Rajan Zed has been elected to the Governing Board of Directors of prestigious Northern Nevada International Center (NNIC) for the second three-year term.
NNIC fosters the role of citizen diplomacy in building bridges of international awareness and understanding, through programs of international exchange and community and educational outreach. Its various programs include International Visitor Leadership Program (funded by US Department of State), Open World Program (exchange program with Russia, etc.), Language Bank, Language and Culture Programs for Adults and for Kids, Intercultural Business Education and Training, World Affairs Council (foreign policy and international relations issues).
Rajan Zed is also on the Board of Directors of Nevada World Trade Council, elected to office of General Improvement District Trustee of Verdi TV District, member Citizens Advisory Committee of Regional Transportation Commission, member Reno Police Chief Advisory Board, Director of Interfaith Relations of Nevada Clergy Association, etc. He was invited by President of European Parliament, Hans-Gert Pottering, in December last in Brussels (Belgium) for a meeting to promote interfaith dialogue. Zed is one of the panelists for “On Faith”, a prestigious interactive conversation on religion produced jointly by Newsweek and WashingtonPost.com. He has been bestowed with “World Interfaith Leader Award”.
