Nov 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The American audience was stunned to see that “The Hangover” star Zach Galifianakis lit up a joint, live on television. The actor appeared on “Real Time with Bill Maher” show where he spoke about Proposition 19, which would legalize marijuana on state and the conversation took an interesting turn when the actor started smoking the joint during the chat show. The actor is one of the staunch supporters of Proposition 19 which would legalize marijuana related activities and also gives the government a platform to regulate, permit or impose taxes on all marijuana related issues.

During the interview, Zach Galifianakis said that the whole thing of Proposition 19 is “tricky” and he does not want to jump on the “bandwagon” as he thinks that people might still see it as a “taboo”. After having some drag from the joint, he offered it to Margaret Hoover. The great-grand daughter of Herbert Hoover smelled the joint and said it to be a “real thing”. However, surprisingly, his representative said that he thinks it was a “prop”.

As the show went on, the audience saw the actor continuing with his smoking before shouting out loud and saying “look at those dragons!” The media outlets are of the opinion that this is for the first time any one has smoked a joint live on air. Bill Maher, while speaking about Zach Galifianakis said that he is absolutely “crazy”. On the other hand, the police spokesperson said that anybody could say that he was smoking “marijuana” but police would have to see it the footage and the evidences as well. It seems that Zach Galifianakis would land himself into trouble if it is proved that he smoked marijuana for real, media outlets say.
