Zach Galifianakis reveals the plot of ‘Hangover 3′
June 9th, 2011 - 7:34 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, June 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Zach Galifianakis has spoken to the Rolling Stone magazine about “Hangover 3.” The producers of the movie have kept a tight lid on the story of the movie so far. The revelations of Zach on the movie are being received skeptically by some circles because some of the revelations may be exaggerated.
For instance he spoke about the producers dropping the previous format of the movie and making his character the main for the movie. The comedy franchise is proving to be one of the most successful in history. The second installment of the movie, “Hangman II” grossed worldwide box-office revenue of $338.4 million.
The 41-year-old comedian said told the magazine that “Hangover III” will be set in mental asylum.
The director of the first two “Hangover” movies, Todd Phillips, had said in previous interviews that a third installment was possible though it was not certain.
During an interview, he said that, “If we were to do a third one, and quite honestly we really haven’t talked about it…we always envisioned it as a trilogy as you can imagine, the third would very much a finale and an ending.”
Zach confirmed that he had been contacted for a third hangover movie.
