Zach GalifianakisNew York, Mar 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The ‘Hangover’ star is trying to be less funny. On that note, he made an appearance at the SNL this weekend. Zach Galifianakis was spotted on the screen in the “Let us play with your look” segment, where he sported a fake wig and an immensely ‘creepy’ smile. Certainly, when the guest host for the night is the funny man himself, there is hardly any scope for the viewers to keep that smile off their face: and because the actor- comedian has already carved a niche for himself in the comedy arena, the interest regarding his SNL appearance had been sky high.

That’s the best thing about Zach Galifianakis. He doesn’t have to try it very hard. Never did he actually try to pose or appear funny. Still the audience couldn’t stop laughing all through the episode. Zach Galifianakis started off smartly with his ‘oh- so- funny’ monologue, that bore the stamp of his own trademark humor.

Zach Galifianakis hogged his fair share of limelight with the movie “The Hangover” last year. The American comedian- actor is also famous for his television show on Comedy Central. Zach Galifianakis has also made appearances in movies like the Oscar-nominated “Up in the Air” and HBO’s Original “Bored to Death.” His upcoming “Dinner for Schmucks,” with Steve & Jermaine Clement is currently in filming stage.

As for the SNL night, Zach Galifianakis didn’t actually have to try anything out of the ordinary to get the balls rolling while on the show. His candid, unassuming posture and witty verbal exchange did all the talking for him.
