July 30, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Zac Efron had reportedly been given the ‘go ahead’ by his girl friend Vanessa Hudgens when he expressed his willingness to visit a strip club in New York. The star of ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ enjoyed his night out at the Flashdancers Gentlemen’s Club with two of his friends. Corbin Bleu, his co star in the ‘High School Musical’ had accompanied him as well.

Zac, however, admitted to feeling awkward while divulging his plan to his girlfriend. He was relieved to find her to be ok with it but felt a little uncomfortable nevertheless. He, however, dismisses the rumors of having blown away almost $2000 at the night club. The visit wasn’t as glamorous as I had hoped it would be, he said.

He shared his thoughts with the US TV host Jimmy Kimmel and said that his idea about such places was derived from rap music. He was not really the kind of guy who went in for that sort of thing, he stated.

He went on to add that he had imagined himself to be sitting on a couch in shades while money rained all around him. But it was nothing like that in reality.

The New York Post got to report his rendezvous on Sunday evening when he was seen dropping into the nightspot with Corbin after a performance by Bleu in ‘The Heights’.

Zac Efron’s new film will be released on the 30th of July and the audiences will get an opportunity to see him without a shirt.
