London, July 23 (ANI): Zac Efron has revealed that he called up his younger brother to tell him how much he loves him, after making ‘Charlie St Cloud’.

Speaking at the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie, the actor admitted that working on the emotional drama has made him appreciate his family.

“I think I had a personal connection, having a little brother and all that happens in the movie, I sort of connected to the ‘what if,’” the Mirror quoted him as saying.

In the film, Efron’s character deals with the death of his younger brother - and in real life the actor says he understood how painful that could be.

“My dad - every time I’m driving my little brother anywhere, he always says ‘hey drive safe’ and holds that look for a little too long and now I know why. It really tugged at my heart strings,” he said.

“This is all reminiscent of me and my brother growing up, we played catch, we shared a room, we were in bunk beds for most of our lives.

“First thing I did when this movie was over I just called him and told him how much I loved him,” he added. (ANI)
