Aug 13 (IBNS) Teen hunk Zac Efron is being sued over a car crash that took place three years back.

He has been hit by a lawsuit for allegedly causing a three-vehicle pile up in Los Angeles.

Katie Porter claims she was rear ended by a taxi, which was shunted by the vehicle the High School Musical star was driving back in 2006. The plaintiff states she has spent the past three years fighting for damages with the insurance companies, and she’s had enough.

Porter’s mom said the firm representing each of the drivers is claiming the other is responsible for repair costs.

The alleged crash victim wants $1,200 for repairs and $400 for a rental car. Her father, who lives in Oklahoma, is also suing for plane and motel costs.

Zachary David Alexander “Zac” Efron (born October 18, 1987) is an American actor and singer. He began acting professionally in the early 2000s, and became known to young audiences after his roles in the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical, the WB series Summerland, and the 2007 film version of the Broadway musical Hairspray. In 2007, right before the release of High School Musical 2, Rolling Stone declared him the “poster boy for tweenyboppers” and featured him in their late August 2007 issue.
