Yuvan Shankar Raja’s ‘Bana Kaathadi’ Released

May 01, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Followed by the grand success of “Jeyam Kondan’, the producers of Sathya Jyothi Films are ready with their next project titled “Bana Kaathadi’. The film stands out as a special showpiece as it marks the debut of actor Murali’s son Adharva in lead role with producer TG Thygarajan’s sons Arjun and Senthil turning as producers.
The audio launch was hosted at Sathyam Cinemas with Abhirami Ramanathan releasing the album and L Suresh receiving the first copy along with Sivasakthi Pandian, Kalaipuli Sekar, Murali, Kaja Moideen, VC Guhanathan, Vikraman, Sneghan, Na Muthukumar, Vijayakumar and T Siva.
Three songs along with the film’s trailer were screened for the special invitees followed by chief guests wishing best success for the entire team. Addressing the crowd, producer Thyagarajan said, “Before few decades, we introduced Murali as an actor with Manirathnam’s film and now we are delighted over introducing his son Adharva as well. It’s worth mentioning that when we approached Ilayaraja to score music for that film, both his sons Karthik Raja and Yuvan Shankar Raja were kids. Today, I am very much elated as the same Yuvan has scored music for this film…’
Badri Venkatesh has directed this film with “Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’ fame Samantha donning the female lead and Prasanna will be seen performing a prominent character.
