May 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Actress Julia Roberts might have done numerous roles in her long and illustrious career but it’s the role of being mother to her three kids that she enjoys the most. In a recent interview, she described her 5-year-old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, and 2-year-old Henry as angelic and wonderful.
Roberts said that her favourite thing is watch them wake up and realize that day has come upon them. She added that it’s fascinating and revealed that her children are still at an age where they find everything exciting.
The forty two year old actress said that one gets grumpier with age but with kids around you are just so present and impressed with everything. Roberts told a story about her youngest child, Henry, waking up early and telling her how beautiful the day is. She adds with a laugh that these are the things which make 5.30 am a lot prettier. Meanwhile, she is also enjoying her new home-making hobby, sewing, saying that it is her new skill to keep her brain firm.
Roberts, who won an Oscar in 2001 for her performance in Erin Brockovich is one of the highest-paid actresses in the world. Her popular films include romantic comedies such as My Best Friend’s Wedding, Mystic Pizza, Notting Hill, Runaway Bride, Valentine’s Day and crime films such as The Pelican Brief and Ocean’s Eleven and Twelve. She met her current husband, cameraman Daniel Moder, on the set of her movie The Mexican in 2000. They married in July 2002 at her ranch in Taos, New Mexico.
