young-justice-cartoon-networkNov 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The much awaited Cartoon Network show, “Young Justice” was finally premiered on November 26 in the evening. The premiere episode was aired for one hour and one cannot deny that the show seems to be quite promising and above average.

It introduced the main four characters Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, and Superboy. The main plot of the story is centered around the Cadmus Project, which is a notorious project where genomes are manufactured to hatch Superboy, by stealing Superman-DNA. By the end of the show, the other important characters were also introduced, that included Miss Martian, niece of Martian Manhunter; Green Arrow and Speedy, the heir of Green Arrow. By the end, it was also evident that Young Justice would be an organization, that would handle assignments of super-villain intrusions, with Black Canary in charge of “training” and Red Tornado as the kids’ supervisor. “Young Justice” has been adopted from the DC Comics series of the same title. However, there is a lot of differences in the way the comic and the television series has been presented. Its producers said that the show is a separate entity from the comic’s continuity.

By watching the first episode of “Young Justice”, it may be concluded that it is fresh and more energetic. The most challenging aspect of a pilot episode is to successfully gain a footing, by establishing the characters, the humor, the plot and the theme of the show. “Young Justice” pilot episode was definitely successful in doing so. It gave some intriguing team dynamics of the young justice league, coupled with good humor and some initial action, that will develop with time.
