Yankees Player Nick Engaged To “Gossip Girl” Star Garcia
June 1st, 2010 - 7:37 pm ICT by Pen Men At WorkJune 1, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Gossip Girl Joanna Garcia, who also starred in “Privileged”, is engaged to baseball player Nick Swisher. She has also been noticed for her role of Cheyenne in “Reba” which ran for a number of years. The couple is excited to tie the knot, but the date and venue of the event has not been decided yet.
It was perhaps to celebrate the official announcement, the outfielder batted a two-run homer in the second innings of Friday night’s game notching up an amazing 8-2 victory against the Cleveland Indians.
Swisher hasn’t been quiet about the relationship, as he made it public that he was dating Garcia, in a talk-show back in September.
However, Swisher is not the only baseball player to get tied up with Hollywood. Alex Rodriguez too has also been spotted with Cameron Diaz.
Garcia, 30, will be back on the small screen in “Better Together” which will be aired on ABC..
