Yamudu Crosses 50 Days In 58 Centres In Andhra Pradesh

August 21, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Suriya starrer Telugu movie Yamudu has been running successfully in 58 centres in Andhra Pradesh. It has already crossed 50 days in these centers. Yamudu is the dubbed version of the hit Tamil film Singam, which was released on 28th May, 2010.
Hari has directed the movie, which stars Anushka Shetty in the female lead role. Prakash Raj, Nassar and Vivek also play important roles in the movies. Producer KE Gnanavel Raja has produced the movie under the Studio Green. The lead hero Surya is also cousin of the producer. The producer has expressed his gratitude to the Telugu audience for their overwhelming response. KE Gnanavel added that the movie has been a profitable venture for his banner.
Yamudu is the story of an honest police officer, played by Suriya. The actor had earlier played a cop in many of his earlier films also so he knows the job very well. The movie is an action entertainer, which has music by renowned composer Devi Sri Prasad.
With this record success, Yamudu has joined the super hit bandwagon of Surya’s other films like Ghajini. Raktha Charithra is another movie of the Tamil star Suriya that will have a Telugu version. It seems that the actor also has his fans in Tollywood!
