Sep 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The last audition of the night for the season premiere of X Factor was one to bring tears to the eyes. Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, LA Reid, and Nicole Sherzinger were the judges in a reality competition show which will bring the largest prize ever on television, a $5M Sony contract.

Chris wanted to win this contract to bring stability for him and his son, He just got out of rehab, He had a great childhood, but got into drugs and alcohol by the time he was 15. He said it broke him, but “There is always a chance, and there is always a choice.” He has been clean for seventy days. He sang an original son he wrote, “Young Homey.”

It was a lovely song which showed some of his life experiences. The audience loved it, and Paula had tears in her eyes. LA Reid was head rocking to the music as Nicole danced in her chair. It was a rapping tune which was done quite well.

The judges gave him a standing ovation and he received a nod from LA. Chris stood crying on the stage as Nicole said, “Wow. I can’t even describe your talent.” Paula called him a bright light which is so talented, words can’t articulate. LA said that all his boys would be proud of him for calling him the truth. Simon said he loves the feeling of when he sits in that chair, and sees a star for the first time. “Maybe you need the show, maybe we need you…”Simon finished. The judges made a deal with him…if they put him through, then he has to stay straight. He agreed, and went backstage, most likely feeling the greatest high he has ever felt.
