Sep 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, LA Reid and Nicole Scherzinger sat judging the Season Premiere of X Factor as contestants competed for the huge prize of a five million dollar contract with Sony.

Caitlyn is a Rugby player. She sang ‘Stop in the Name of Love’ in her own style, which wowed the judges and the audience. LA loved it, as did Nicole. Paula loved her authenticity and Simon loved her control and originality. She got four yes votes.

Zander had too much attitude form the beginning, and the judges weren’t sure whether to like him or not. He became especially sassy with Simon, and even invited him outside. Simon gave him one last chance, and called him irritating. “Shut it, and start singing.”

As he began to sing, ‘I’ll Be’, Simon stopped him and told him the song was not working. They let him sing another. LA said that he believes that Zander can sing, but just did not do well today. Simon stopped him and said that he liked Zander, and felt that even with the sassiness, he was interesting. LA gave him a no, Nicole said no, Paula said no, Simon said that his vote didn’t matter, since he had two nos.
