‘X Factor’ bootcamp is going to be grueling for the contestants

London, Aug 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The finals of next season’s UK X factor show will start showing on the 20th of August and already the contestants have been warned of what lies ahead. The Daily Star reports that the bootcamp stage of the competition is going to be grueling for the contestants who hope to make it to the final show.

According to the report, the producers of the show have extended the bootcamp period to five days and the contestants have their work definitely cut for them. They will have to go through dance classes, songwriting sessions, workshops and master classes. The contestants will finally learn a new song within an hour.

A source quoted by the newspaper said that, “Simon may not be on X Factor UK this year but he is making sure it keeps its sparkle. He’s really putting the pressure on. He wants to boot camp to be a boot camp and not a holiday camp. So that means making it longer and tougher.”

Simon Cowell is currently involved in the US version of the show. The show is hitting the United States for the first time this year.

X Factor UK will start airing from the 20th of August.
