WWE Smackdown: Sheamus vs The Great Khali

August 6th, 2011 - 6:32 pm ICT by Angela Kaye Mason

As ‘WWE Friday Night Smackdown’ began last night, Sheamus made his way to the ring to battle with The Great Khali, who was accompanied by Jinder Mahal. Sheamus is scheduled to wrestle against the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry next week. Perhaps this match would be practice for that very match as the 6′6 tall Sheamus faced the giant, Khali, who made Sheamus look small in comparison.

Khali began to dominate early into the match. Just as it started to look bad for Sheamus, the Irishman began to fight back pretty hard. The Great Khali’s huge hand soon sent Sheamus flying, however, and he found himself outside the ring. Khali grabbed Sheamus and threw him back into the ring, however, and soon Sheamus received a hard clothesline from the huge man. Khali just continued to throw Sheamus around brutally. As angry as Mark Henry has been of late, next week’s match may not go so well for Sheamus if he does not fight harder than he was doing last night. In a sudden burst of strength, however, Sheamus amazingly came back to win it by pinfall after kicking the seven foot monster to the ring floor.
