WWE Smackdown: Randy Orton vs Ted Dibiase

August 27th, 2011 - 5:11 pm ICT by Angela Kaye Mason

Aug 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) As Ted Dibiase made his way to the ring last night on ‘WWE Friday Night Smackdown’, Cody Rhodes followed, ready to stand with him. Rhodes takes the mic and makes claims of his miracle working abilities, and claimed to be reviving the Intercontinental Title the same way that he did Dibiase’s career.

Although Dibiase was off to a good start, it was soon obvious that he lacked the experience and skill to compete with Randy Orton. Rhodes soon tried to jump in and distract Orton, but Orton wasn’t having it, and took Rhodes out. That did manage to give Dibiase the upper hand for a bit, however, and he moved to the top rope, ready to take out Orton.

Orton managed to stop Dibiase, and even got in a few punches before administering a super-plex. Orton wins the match with an RKO and a pinfall. Rhodes was not happy at all. He climbed into the ring, and helped Dibiase to his feet, only to slam him back down with the CrossRhodes. He then placed a bag over Dibiase’s head, and left the ring.
