Sep 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Randy Orton made his way to the ring last night on ‘WWE Friday Night Smackdown’ looking fierce. Despite a knee injury which he obtained during ‘Night of Champions’, His knee was not rapped for the match. Cody Rhodes once again came to the ring wearing the clear mask which he has used as a storyline and weapon for many months. Rhodes is the Intercontinental Champion.

Orton wasted no time in proceeding to attack Rhodes with a vengeance. But Rhodes quickly came back and clipped the injured knee of Orton. That knee injury was done by Mark Henry as they battle at the pay per view event, and Rhodes saw this as his chance, and Orton’s weakness. Orton did not let Rhodes have control for long, however, and began to clam back.

Rhodes then took the padding off of the top ring post, and the referee made him stop. As the referee was putting the padding back on, Rhodes took off his mask and tried to hit Orton in the face as he did to win the last match between these two men. But Orton came back and snatched the mask from Rhodes. As Orton hit Rhodes in the face with his own mask, the referee called the match, and Orton lost by disqualification.

This did not stop Orton, however, and he continued to beat Rhodes down as the referee screamed for him to calm down. It looked as though Orton was gone, however, and the Viper was there in his place as he slammed Rhodes in the head with the bell. Orton then proceeded to RKO Rhodes into the announcer’s table before he was finally spent.
