Jan 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) As WWE Friday Night welcomed in the New Year, the house was packed out as usual. Dolph Zigler escorted Vicki Guerrero to the ring, and held her head as she looked very upset. She soon made it known why. She came out to file a complaint against John Cena. Last week in the handicapped match against Cena, she accused him of placing her on his shoulders to give her his “Attitude Adjustment” move, although he did not make the move on her.

Vickie claimed last night that she was suffering from a serious case of vertigo, and under doctors orders, she is not allowed to be above two feet off the ground. Kofi Kingston soon interrupted. He told her to be quiet, and that what she was saying is nonsense. Jack Swagger came out just then to put in his two cents as well.

Jack stated that for this first time in his life, Kofi Kingston was right about something. They both feel as though Dolph had taken the Intercontinental Champion and did not deserve it. Their view is somewhat arguable, since Dolph usually wins because of interruptions from Vickie. Of course a fight soon broke out between the three men, with Kofi getting the best of both Swagger and Zigler just before Teddy Long came out to tell Dolph that he would be defending the Championship in a Triple Threat Rematch with Kofi and Swagger later in the night.

The Bog Show came out and battled with Dashing Cody Rhodes. The match was soon won by the giant, due to a count out of Rhodes. Drew McEntire then made his way to the ring, followed by Trent Barretta. After Barretta was thrown out of the ring, and looked to possibly be seriously injured, the referee called the match, naming Drew as the winner.

Rey Mysterio took the time to greet a few of his young fans before climbing into the ring to meet his opponent, Alberto Del Rio. Kane then came walking out to the ring as did Edge. The four superstars were ready for their tag team match. Mysterio and Edge made a surprisingly good team, whereas it was quite strange to see Del Rio teamed up with Kane. The team of Mysterio and Edge won the match with a 619 by Rey followed by a Spear from Edge, both distributed to Del Rio.

Teddy Long announced for the first Smackdown of 2011 next week Del Rio and Mysterio would have a two out of three falls match, and Edge would face Kane for a last man standing match. After Teddy’s announcement , Natalya and Beth Phoenix entered into a tag team match against LayCool, the team of Layla and Michelle McCool.

Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, and Dolph Zigler made their way to the match for the triple threat match which had been announced by Teddy Long earlier. It was a long battle, and finally, Kofi Kingston had the match won after kicking Swagger in the head, but once again, Vickie interfered, and Dolph won.
