Oct 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) As last night’s episode of ‘WWE Friday Night Smackdown’ began, the WWE Champion, Alberto Del Rio came out to announce that he would be defending his WWE title against John Cena. Cena had already shared with the crowd on ‘WWE Monday Night Raw’ that the match would be a ‘Last Man Standing’ match. Del Rio also informed the crowd that although he was supposed to be competing against The Big Show last night, that he would not be doing so because of injuries he said he sustained when John Cena attacked him on Monday.

Just then, Teddy Long interrupted to tell Del Rio that he was just trying to get out of the match with Show. Del Rio had been checked out by physicians earlier in the day, and was cleared to compete on last night’s show. The General Manager, Teddy Long feels that Del Rio is simply scared of The Big Show. Teddy then turned to ask the crowd whether or not they would like to see Del Rio wrestle against The Big Show. The WWE Universe exploded with cheers, and the match is set.

As the match began, The Big Show simply shoved Alberto Del Rio over, hit him in the back, and then chopped him in the chest. Show dominated the match form the beginning, and tossed Del Rio around like a doll. Del Rio finally had to get out of the ring in order to get a break. The referee asked the Big Show to hold off and let him count, and Show obliged. The two men battled for some time, but Show eventually won by disqualification after Ricardo Rodriguez interrupted the match.
