July 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) As ‘WWE Friday Night Smackdown began last night, Randy Orton was sitting in the middle of the ring in a chair. “My name…is Randy Orton,” he began. As the crowd cheered, he spoke of all that was going on in the WWE. There is no champion. Vince McMahon has lost his power, and Triple H has taken over. But he went on to say that the show is not going any further until he addressed a few issues. He spoke of the loss of the World Heavyweight Championship belt, which Christian now has. Christian walked out, and Randy said that as long as Christian is breathing, then they still have unfinished business.

Christian told Randy that he needed to look at himself in the mirror…that maybe the unfinished business is the voices in his head. “The voices in your head, Randy, that is the reason that you don’t have this,” Christian said, as he held up the belt. He explained to Randy that the reason he lost his belt was because he broke the rules. “You spit in my face…” Randy ground out through clinched teeth. Christian insisted that he did not mean to. Randy interrupted and insisted that he wants he rematch… “tonight.” Christian told him that if he wanted a rematch, to get in line like everybody else.

As Randy dropped the mic and went after Christian, Teddy Long interrupted, and promised Randy his rematch. But since he was scheduled in a street fight with Kane later, Teddy asked Randy to be the bigger man and walk away without incident. Randy’s response was to attack Christian as the referees had to break the two men up. Teddy Long then told Christian that he was to face Ezekiel Jackson in a match tonight as well.

As Ezekiel made his way to the ring for the “Champion vs Champion” match, Christian looked very angry. This had no effect on Jackson, however, who tossed Christian around the ring like a beach ball. The match made it’s way outside the ring as Jackson continued to overpower Christian. In a last minute surprise Christian managed to pin the Intercontinental Champion, Ezekiel Jackson for the win.
