WWE Smackdown: 20 Man Over the Top Match

Aug 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) As last night’s episode of ‘WWE Friday Night Smackdown’ drew to a close, there was still the issue of who would be the number one contender for Randy Orton’s World Heavyweight title. Earlier in the show, Teddy Long had announced that there would be a twenty men Over the Top Challenge’ to decide who would fight Orton for the belt. With such giants as ‘The Great Khali’ and ‘Mark Henry-World’s Strongest man’ in the ring, it was sure to be a brutal match.

Contestants had to throw one another over the top rope of the ring, until there was only one man left. That one man would be the winner and number one contender for Orton’s belt. Mark Henry was thrown out early on by Khali, as Randy Orton watched from the sidelines. Sheamus was proving to be fierce competition as well. After Mark Henry’s removal, it was revealed that he is still a part of the battle since he did not go over the top. But Henry waited outside the ring as the other men exhausted themselves.

Sin Cara and Gabriel locked heads, with Gabriel losing. Sheamus threw out the Uso brothers. As everyone was eliminated, Mark Henry began to grab them and toss them around like rag dolls. He threw one of the Uso’s right through the announcer’s tables. DiBiase was then eliminated, and we were soon down to four men. Sheamus, Sin Cara, Mark Henry and Wade Barrett were the last ones in and the smaller men teamed up on Mark Henry. Getting the huge man over the top rope seemed impossible. Soon it was down to Sin Cara and Mark Henry. It did not take long for Mark Henry to toss the much smaller man out, winning the match. Randy Orton’s fate is sealed. He will battle Mark Henry for the title.
