Mar 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) WWE Monday Night Raw started with CM Punk sitting in the middle of the ring while the audience chanted for him…which was odd, unless you consider that they were in Chicago, Illinois, Punk’s hometown. He spoke of how he would miss the cheers because he is sure that in Atlanta, he won’t meet the same warm welcome. He is most likely correct. He also spoke of how Randy Orton had wiped out the members of the New Nexus one at a time. But he insisted the Orton had a false sense of security. Punk soon attacked the injured Orton, and was almost kicked in the head by Orton, but was saved when Orton’s injured knee gave out.

Alberto Del Rio and partner Brotus went right into a match against Christian and Edge. It was a well matched battle, with Christian and Del Rio wearing themselves down before tagging in their partners, Brotus and Edge. Edge managed to spear Brotus, and won the match, but Del Rio grabbed Christians injured arm and tried to damage it further just before Edge chased him off. As soon as Edge turned his back, Del Rio came back to attack from behind. He then put Edge in the same cross arm breaker move which left Christian out of work for six months. Will this be Edge’s fate at Wrestlemania this Sunday?

The anonymous General Manager emailed in, and Michael Cole read it from his iPad inside the Cole Mine. The GM wanted to know if Jerry Lawler is ready for Wrestlemania, so he is insisting that Lawler goes one on one with Jack Swagger. Lawler said he would be thrilled to go one on one, so that there was no chance of Cole and Swagger ganging up on him like they did last week.

Santino and Gabriel soon went at it, with Koslov, The Big Show, and Kane standing in Santino’s corner as he battled with the Corre member. Santino soon won, and all four men danced around the ring, including Kane, in a silly, trumpet blowing motion which had the audience in stitched with laughter.

The Undertaker walked slowly to the ring, all in black, as ‘Ain’t No Grave’ played in the background. He was soon met by Triple H, whom he will face at Wrestlemania. The audience went crazy as Shawn Michaels came out to the ring. But Shawn ask Triple H, “What makes you think that you can do what I couldn’t?” But Triple H told Shawn that he Had to win, although Shawn was okay with no being the show stopper, Triple H knew he had to win, and that he will. Triple H went on to speak of his respect for the Undertaker, but that he will take the Undertaker down next Sunday. Taker’s response was, “If I ever get to the point where I think someone needs to put me down, I would want that someone to be you…that’s the respect I have for you, but that time is not here.”

Then it was finally time for the match between Swagger and Lawler, but during the match, Lawler became so angry at Cole that he tried to climb into the plexiglass “Cole Mine” to get to Cole. Cole continued to taunt Lawler, but if Lawler touches Cole before Sunday at Wrestlemania, he is disqualified. Soon Sheamus, the United States Champion, and his partner, Zigler picked up a win against Daniel Bryan and John Morrison.

Trish Stratus and Snookie were soon seen in an interview, in which Snookie was obviously drinking a bit….quite a bit. Snookie had to chase off an annoying male admirer, and showed a few of the moves which she will use at Wrestlemania. Soon LayCool showed up, and all four girls were suddenly in a four way cat fight.

The main event had The Rock, John Cena, and Miz all in the ring together. It was the first time that The Rock had been back to the WWE live after promising that he would never leave. The Rock came out first, and once again spent his time making fun of Cena. Cena soon had enough and made his way to the ring to face the Rock.

John told the Rock that this is where Rock belongs…in the ring. Cena explained that this was all John Cena had wanted..”Do you hear the people, do you hear these people, do you hear the millions chanting your name?” John went on to explain that years ago, when he spoke out about the Rock, he was one of those millions. John showed Rock how the audience chanted for him. “If you don’t believe me, look, listen, feel…the excitement, the electricity which can only be brought by one man…you, Rock.” Cena then went on to say that being made fun of by the Rock was like a celebrity roast…

John went on to tell Rick that he is proud of who he is, and he asked Rock, “Who the h*ll are you to judge me?” The audience was quick to change back and forth on who they cheered for…booing and cheering in turn for whomever had the mic. “I have addressed you like a man. I have said everything I had to say to your face…like a man,” Cena told Rock, looking him in the eyes. “You wanna fight…”~thump~ the mic dropped and Cena stepped up. Just then, Miz’s music started, and Miz came to the ring saying, “Really, really? Is this how it is going to be? Upstaged by the ‘O’ brothers? Over-hyped and Over-rated?” Then he went on to profess that he is going to beat Cena, and told Rock that he wasn’t gonna do anything. Miz and Riley soon jumped the Rock, but the Rock fought back and beat them both down before giving Miz the People’s Elbow. Cena stepped in, tossed the Rock on his shoulders, and dropped him into the middle of the ring, and then issued a “You Can’t See Me” before leaving the Rock laying on the ring floor.
