WWE Raw: Randy Orton vs Drew McIntyre

Oct 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Randy Orton made his way to the ring last night to meet his opponent, Drew McIntyre as ‘WWE Monday Night Raw’ began. It was the first Monday Night Raw to be aired since Sunday’s ‘Hell in a Cell’ pay per view event, which most likely left Orton very sore from head to toe after losing his match with the World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry.

Orton’s rage at the loss was apparent as he attacked Drew viciously. Randy soon had Drew in the corner of the ring and was pounding him in the head with his fists. Orton seemed possessed as he continued his attack, until Drew McIntyre came back with a boot to the skull. Booker T announced that he had been waiting a great while for McIntyre to break out, and that last night would have been a great chance for him to do just that.

Randy Orton soon came back and came back strong, however, but Drew had his own set of skills to bring to the table. The two men entered into what looked more like a street fight in the middle of the ring, and McIntyre suffered his second near fall of the night. Orton soon got the look in his eyes which suggests that he was in a different place mentally. Orton was now the Viper and as he made his way across the ring, his RKO finished off his opponent.

As soon as the match was over, the World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry came to the ring with the Championship belt over his shoulder, and flaunting it in Orton’s face. Henry had won the title from Orton two weeks ago, and won it again at Hell in a Cell. Many officials from back stage, security, and John Laurinaitis all fought to pull the two men apart, but keeping the Viper and the World’s Strongest Man at bay proved to be impossible. The battle raged on until Henry found himself on the floor.
