Debutant director and actor Ravi Kapoor has disclosed almost all controversies happened in the real world in his upcoming film “World Cupp 2011″. The film is set to expose the dark and dirty secrets behind the network of underworld in the game of cricket. The director claims that the movie will be a huge shock for the audience as they’ll get to see some gruesome stories behind match fixing, internal gang war etc.

Ravi Kapoor has revealed the scene behind the mysterious firing on director Mahesh Bhatt by gangster Ravi Pujari in “World Cupp 2011″. The movie will depict the real story of Ravi Pujari who wanted to kill Mahesh Bhatt because he was apparently linked to the underworld dons Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel and launders money for them, as told by Ravi Pujari. Ravi Kapoor further added that, his film would show whether Ravi Pujari really wanted to save Mumbai from the underworld dons who were a part of 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts or was Mahesh Bhatt an innocent target of mistaken identity?

It’s a realistic movie based on the nexus between cricketers and bookies and is set to hit the theatres on 18th Dec 2009. The movie has been made in such a way that the audience will be able to recall each incident that has flashed on news channels as breaking news and figure out what really went behind the scenes during such incidents. The whole theme of the movie, the costumes, the character names have been kept real. With Mahesh Bhatt already into too many controversies off late, it would to be exciting to watch World Cupp 2011, which will expose everything to the audience.
