Woody Allen’s next film

April 24, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Veteran Hollywood filmmaker, Woody Allen, who likes to be secretive about his films before they come out, revealed that his latest film will be a romantic comedy set in Paris.
The film will be titled “Midnight in Paris’ and will tell the story of a family traveling to the city for business and a young engaged couple. According to sources, Allen said that the film celebrates a young man’s great love for Paris, and simultaneously explores the illusion people have that a life different from their own is better.
Production of the film will start in the summer of 2010 and it will star Marion Cotillard, Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates, Nina Arianda, Tom Hiddleston, Corey Stoll, Mimi Kennedy, Kurt Fuller and Michael Sheen. French First Lady, Carla Bruni who was earlier rumored to play the lead in the film might appear in a cameo.
‘Midnight in Paris’ is due for release in 2011Midnight in Paris will be Allen’s third film to be funded by Spanish company, Mediapro. They have earlier worked with Allen’s Gravier Productions and also funded ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ and his next release, ‘You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger’, which stars Naomi Watts, Anthony Hopkins and Freida Pinto.
