Woody Allen inspired by Frieda’s breakup

September 28, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actress Frieda Pinto has recently revealed that the role she plays in the new film by Woody Allen, in a way actually reflects the break-up that she faced in her own life.
The Slumdog Millionaire star thinks that acclaimed director Woody Allen has used her break-up incident as an inspiration for his new upcoming movie, entitled You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger.
The actress reportedly ended her relationship of 16-months with fiance Rohan Antao, in order to date her The Slumdog Millionaire co-star Dev Patel, said that she felt like reading a part of her own life, when she was reading the script. She also said that the script was very similar to the original.
She plays the character of Dia and she says that, when she walked into Allen’s office and read out the script,; there was a part where Dia confesses for the first ever time that she doubts about what she was going to get into, Frieda thought that surely someone must be reading out gossip magazines to Woody.
Freida now 25 feels that breaking off the engagement was the best decision that she ever made in her life. We wish her all the success for You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger.
