LOS ANGELES (BNO NEWS) — The woman who attacked Leonardo DiCaprio is now facing a bail of $150,000, media reported Wednesday.
TMZ reported that Aretha Wilson, 40, who was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly slashing DiCaprio’s face five years ago, was in court on Wednesday waiting to be arraigned.
In 2005, Wilson allegedly attacked the actor with a drinking glass at a Hollywood party. The cut required 17 stitches.
Wilson was initially facing a bail of $60,000 dollars, but she had to be extradited to the U.S. after fleeing to Canada shortly after the incident.
If convicted, Wilson will be facing a maximum prison term of four years.
