Witherspoon too short for motorcycle sceneMarch 7th, 2008 - 2:01 pm ICT by admin
London, March 7 (IANS) Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon had to cancel a motorcycle-riding scene in the new movie “Penelope” because she was too short for the scooter’s footrest. Witherspoon was embarrassed when her feet wouldn’t reach all the way down even after the crew strapped wooden blocks to her feet, contactmusic.com reports.
She said: “I was height-challenged. And I was a little embarrassed.”
Finally, the director Mark Palansky scrapped the plans involving her riding the scooter and resorted to having her pull the two-wheeler pulled along by a rope instead.
