Winfrey offers Bono to host TV show

London, Dec 21 (IANS) Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey had offered singer Bono to present his own show on her OWN network, but he declined.Winfrey is set to launch her network next year and has recruited a host of stars to host their own talk shows, including Jenny McCarthy, Rosie O’Donnell and Ryan and Tatum O’Neal.
She has also approached Hollywood actors Julia Roberts, Forest Whitaker and Goldie Hawn to develop their own documentaries for the network.
Winfrey also approached Bono with the idea but he respectfully declined it, reports contactmusic.com.
