Amy Winehouse London, July 27 (IANS) Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse ruined her chances of recording a theme song for James Bond series’ last outing “Quantum of Solace” by partying too hard and taking drugs, her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil has claimed.
The “Back to Black” singer who teamed up with producer Mark Ronson for the proposed “Quantum of Solace” title track in 2008 allegedly ruined the collaboration by partying too hard at the recording studio, reports contactmusic.com.

“It just turned into an excuse for a wild drink and drugs party. She wasn’t concentrating on work,” said Fielder-Civil.

Ronson later scrapped plans to work with Winehouse, and reportedly halted the sessions because of her drug addiction problems.

Alicia Keys and Jack White’s duet “Another way to die” was later chosen by Bond bosses.
