London, June 20 (ANI): Lord Of The Rings director Peter Jackson’s company is set to give classic children’s tale ‘Wind In The Willows’ the blockbuster treatment.

Jackson’s Weta Workshop special effects company has signed up to create a 20-million-pound film adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s work.

The story will elaborate on the 1908 original book’s plot and depict talking animals Mole, Rat, Badger and Toad banding together to save their riverbank home from a sinister plan.

The movie will combine actors in animal costumes with computer effects.

“Fans should be in for a treat,” the Daily Express quoted Terence Doyle, editor of British Film Magazine, as saying.

“Weta Workshop is at the cutting edge of movie effects and the film should look spectacular,” Doyle added. (ANI)
