Willow Smith To Revive Her Dad’s ‘Parents Just Don’t Understand’

Willow Smith, the little girl of Hollywood star Will Smith, has some big plans in 2011. The 10 year old singing sensation has shown her interest in reviving her dad’s 1988 Grammy Award winning rap number ‘Parents just don’t understand’.
During an interview recently, the wonder girl has expressed her desire and intention to record a new version of the popular number. She claimed to be a big fan of the song and said it’s really a great number.
Willow said that she is planning to come up with the new version in 2011. Elaborating on the song, the little girl said that it means don’t be afraid of yourself and don’t allow anyone to tell that you are wrong and just be yourself.
The song concerned is of the time when Will Smith was known as The Fresh Prince. He recorded the rap with DJ Jazzy. Now, Smith is a superstar in Hollywood and his little daughter, who has also become very popular, is trying to record the same number in her style. This is definitely going to be a proud moment for this celebrity dad. Who knows she may also end up winning another Grammy for the revived number!
