Willie Nelson arrested for pot possession yet again

Sierra Blanca, Nov 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Willie Nelson was arrested for the possession of pot yet again. The drugs were found in his tour bus, which was present in the region of Sierra Blanca. According to reports, the US Border Patrol officials smelled pot when one of the doors of the tour bus was opened. Then they thoroughly checked the bus with the aid of K-9 dogs and found six ounces of pot in the bus.
After the recovery of marijuana, Nelson admitted that the substance belonged to him. Along with him, two more people were arrested by the police. The Hudspeth County Sheriff later revealed that Willie Nelson was released after he posted a bond of $2,500.
“Tax it, regulate it and legalize it. And stop the border wars over drugs. Why should the drug lords make all the money? Thousands of lives will be saved,” according to an email by Nelson to CelebStoner.
This isn’t the first time that Nelson had a brush with the law related to drugs. In the past too, he has already been sent behind bars three times for the possession of marijuana. He was arrested in Texas 5 years back and then he was also arrested in Louisiana four years back.
