Will.i.am: ‘Cheryl Cole will not return to X-factor’

Will.i.am, who is a close friend of the Girls Aloud star, told The Mirror that Cheryl will not be returning to the X Factor UK show because she doesn’t have to “make someone-else rich?”
Will.i.am has been a strong pillar in the life of Cheryl especially in the past year. The Daily Mail reports that the American has been instrumental in getting the Girls Aloud singer stay positive despite being fired from the X factor USA show just days after she was hired. He has also featured on the upcoming album of Cheryl. The album which is expected to be released this year will be the third for the singer.
When asked if Cheryl will be returning on the X-Factor show, Will.i.am stated that, “Why does she need it? Why are you going to make someone-else rich? Cheryl needs her own show.”
He further revealed that Cheryl is working on new projects and will be “different from the one we’re going to know 10 years from now.”
Cheryl left the X Factor UK job last year and her bid to land a role as a judge on the US version of the show ended in embarrassment.
