London, August 06 (ANI): ‘Bad Boys’ stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have been crowned as top cops in a new poll of the best movie cop double act.
More than 15,000 film fans took part in the week-long MovieTickets.com vote, held to mark the release of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg’s new movie ‘The Other Guys’.
And Smith and Lawrence, who have played cocky cops Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett in two films, came out on top with 41 per cent votes, reports the Daily Star.
Despite his legal woes and tarnished reputation, Mel Gibson was also a top pick - his ‘Lethal Weapon’ films landed the Aussie actor and sidekick Danny Glover second place with 36 per cent.
Bill Hader and Seth Rogen who starred together in ‘Superbad’ were a distant third with 14 per cent. (ANI)
