Will Smith is only comfortable doing roles that make people laugh

Washington, Dec 29 (ANI): Hollywood actor Will Smith is reluctant to do negative roles on the big screen as he thinks it would interfere with his natural instinct to make people laugh.

The Oscar-nominated actor insists that funny films remain his top choice of work.

The Hitch actor still prefers comedy, even though he was equally applauded for his roles in movies like Ali, The Pursuit Of Happyness and I Am Legend.

“I enjoy inspiring good feelings, that is fun for me. Comedy I would say is my most fun. How people react to Hitch and The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, there is nothing that matches that, Contactmusic quoted him, as telling British magazine Empire.

The 39-year-old actor said that he would contemplate playing the bad guy only if the role carried an important message.

“I’m sure there is a bad guy at some point that has the right message. Scarface had the right message about power and drugs and it showed you exactly where that mess was going to end up, he added. (ANI)
