Norma Mitchell Gibson was married to Tyrese Gibson for less than a year and have a daughter. But their split means Norma is running up a really high legal bill. On March 9th Norma was given $65,000 by the judge but she has again applied for $80,000 for her attorneys. She said she believes Tyrese earns about $250,000 a month and she wants some of that. She is currently getting $6300 as support and $2700 as rent for her apartment. But Norma says she has to spend $500 for infant classes for their daughter and another $2000 a month for entertainment, clothes and groceries.

Meanwhile Tyrese’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said in a declaration against Norma’s plea, “Petitioner has taken steps to ensure that attorney’s fee are kept at a minimum. Despite these efforts, respondent is still requesting additional attorney’s fees less than two months of being awarded $65,000 for attorney and accounting fees.”

Norma has also challenged the validity od the pre-nuptial agreement and a date has been set in August to check the validity. According to the pre-nup, Norma does not get anything that belongs to Tyrese, including his production company, his cars or his houses. But she is to get a lump sum of $50,000 for every year they have been married for a maximum of ten years. Norma seems to be missing out on this too because they had been married for only ten months. The pre-nup also stated that if either party signed for a divorce or separation plea, Norma would have to move out of Tyrese’s house in 60 days or Tyrese can get a court order that gets her to move out.
