Louisiana, Feb 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Comedian Will Ferrell added some royalty to his life when he marched through the streets of Louisiana dressed as King Bacchus. The 44-year-old was dressed in the red regalia as her rode through the streets during annual Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans.

During the float, he greeted fans and he faked the royalty. This is the first time that he has taken up the responsibility of King Bacchus during the Mardi Gras parade.

He was quoted by the Times-Picayune as saying that, “’I don’t know what to expect. I do have to say, everybody is coming up to me and…they have the same speech pattern. They go: ‘Have you been here before for Mardi Gras?’ And I say ‘No.’ Then they pause. ‘Oh. You’re going to have a good time.”

Ferrell has not been at the Mardi Gras parade before but he has been in Louisiana for quite a while. He is in the city where he is involved in the comedy drama The Campaign. The political-theme movie has been in the making since last November. The movie which was directed by Ray Roach wrapped last week.
