Will Ferrell Aka Ron Burgundy Plans For Anchorman 2

will-ferrellWill Ferrell, the renowned US comedian who played the role of a news reader, Ron Burgundy in the cult comedy flick Anchorman, has been reported of expressing his interest to come up with a sequel of Anchorman, titled Anchorman 2. According to the sources, the US comedian has revealed that he is willing to meet the cast of the original comedy flick Anchorman in order to plan up a sequel for the movie.

The news brought fans of the movie freaking out, craving to see ‘Ron Burgundy’ one more time on screen. The original movie i.e. Anchorman, was a typical laughing riot that had drawn in a considerably huge amount of revenue from the box office.

Reports suggest that while speaking to the Zoo magazine, Wills said, “I can tell you this; we are going to talk to all the guys next week - Steve Carell, Paul Rude and every body else - to see if it’s feasible to do it, because everybody’s at different places right now, with totally different schedules.

So before we decide to set off into something, we want to make sure that everybody is really into it and willing to met a commitment. But I think my odds are good. My next year is already booked up with stuff I have been already working on, but hopefully we can start filming within a couple of years.”

This startling revelation by the man himself has literally charged up the Anchorman aficionados to take a plunge once again into the deep ocean of laughter. Adding to the film’s concept Mr. Ferrell said, “We have talked about it setting in the 80’s. Do you try to change it up and try a different era or seeing these guys stuck in the 70’s? I don’t know yet.”
